KidzofKorn: As a 20 year Diablo fan, S11 was the final straw and I switched over to POE2 last week. It was a tough start with lots of video watches and tutorials and the Act 1 Boss almost made me quit but now, I totally get the hype. I'm having a blast and see the difference between the 2 in terms of quality, itemization, journey to endgame, monster mechanics, etc. etc. This news just serves to reinforce my decision to switch and make the leap. I was sad at first as I still maintained some hope that Blizzard would listen to the players and make a better product but seeing the new Masterworking, power nerfs, reduced build variety and viability, no new endgame content, and more, 2 years into the game and 10 seasons later, I lost all remaining hope. What's the definition of insanity??

jr1348jr: Doesn’t really matter how good/bad you are at managing a community if you don’t have a game that requires it. D4 is made for extremely casual players that pay no attention to anything going on with the game outside of logging in to a screen telling them there’s been an update and/or new cosmetics.

TheRealMrGordons: Well shit. That's really bad. Pezradar was a cool guy. They absolutely messed up with D4 I don't know what they were thinking. From the beta I knew it didn't capture the feeling that D2 and D3 had. Been playing the recent season of D3 and its night and day (also for some reason I get way higher latency in D4 vs D3, 60ms more in D4) I hope things can improve but honestly they shouldn't have had so many devs who's first game ever was D4

I look at it from the perspective of a player who doesn't like a few things about Diablo 4, and looking at the camp fires, I saw people who are leaving the game development. If these people were the ones presenting content that wasn't exciting and looked more like copy-paste, won't the game be better off without them?
