THANK YOU. That whole segment really drives the point home. Two years after launch and no leaderboards, no new world bosses (even with an expansion that added a new area to the map), no loot filter, no crafting system, no endgame progression system, no ssf mode, the list goes on and on.

Dartlin: In my opinion the game feels like it's designed more so around the seasonal battle pass and monetization model than it is around actually providing new content on a seasonal basis
This causes it to feel like they hold out on all the content in order to charge for it in an expansion meanwhile just essentially stalling during the seasons,
it feels like because of the focus on the financial aspect, things like careful itemization and synergies/build diversity get lost in the process
I have not played since S5 because it just feels like the experience is not deep enough to warrant even investing the time to get started
vfernando56: 53 year old gamer, played this franchise since D1. It made me love arpg’s. I agree with you Rax, D4 just makes me sad, not mad. This will be my third season not logging on. Hopefully the future will bring something interesting to get me back and make Diablo my go to game again.

This man, has been the greatest ambassador for you're game imaginable. He has done, so much of the heavy lifting for you. He genuinely helped breath life into D3 towards the end of its lifetime.
This has to be your wake up call, Blizzard. Raxx has been transparent, carried himself with integrity, has been self - aware, has been respectful, avoids emotional reactions, sees the positive so often and has been genuinely understanding at every turn.
Blizzard, you're pushing away somebody whom I genuinely believe is one of the best content creators / ally to new players of this era. I say this not for drama, but to help drive home what has been done to this franchise.
This is the worst omen for the IP, and you may be pushing away who I think will widely be seen as the "face" of ARPGs years from now, and not only that, I believe he'll been seen as an icon of "how to be a content creator, the right way".
If you're an ARPG developer and you can get Raxx to sink his teeth into you're game, you've just solved half of your "new player" problems, because that blue hoodie has an uncanny ability to translate complex information in a digestible form for the "casuals" that are the core of most of these games.

The talented individuals behind those classics are long gone, and so are their gold standards after the Activision merger. Too often people treat a beloved studio or company like they become an "institution" imbued with special magic. It is just a fancy logo; it is the people at the time that bring the magic. This isn't saying new talent can't beat old talent. New blood is good. Only that these things are generational/era based, don't automatically transfer all that legacy just because the brand logo is the same after 30 years.

No one from those teams are apart of anything related to diablo 4. Blizzard may own the IP but this isn't the same Blizzard that existed 20 years ago, I don't understand why people talk like they are the exact same people.

TheBayHarborRizzler: I'm a dirty casual who just follows build guides, and even I am getting tired of "this season is pink helltide w/ new powers!" Also, I know everyone focuses on needing more endgame, but early game needs some love too. I don't know how many more seasons I can do HT from 1 - 60.
