jf2849: To be honest D4 has been in a constant state of drama since launch. I’m upset about giving the game up after all the time I put into it but I’m excited to move on. I have a ton of great games in my back log I should have been playing a long time ago.
magnusarpg: That survey was complete BS. I was 2 minutes in and was like “WTF is this garbage.”
zodwraith5745: I still spin up D4 with the beginning of each season but my play time gets shorter and shorter. Losing a community manager for a game that doesn't listen to the community doesn't really effect us that much, as he had little to no pull in the actual direction of the game, he just had to be the punching bag for the ones that do.
JackOfHearts42: I quite Destiny 2 after they started vaulting paid DLCs. Total BS.
arthasmenethil4399: I absolutely loved Destiny 2 back in the day. But when they started aggressively monetizing and vaulting old content, that was a dealbreaker for me and I haven't played it since 2020.
dirtrally_Sleepy: That D4 survey was so f-ing stupid on so many levels. Absolutely unacceptable
JerryBacon1: if they added a PvE only mode in Arc Raiders id love to try it out! keep it as it is but take away PvP that would be fun
iHaveOneArm: The worst part about Bungie vaulting entire planets/stories.
With the updates to the engine etc they physically cannot bring them back. We can't even call this Destiny 2 anymore, the entirety of The Red War, Curse of Osiris, Warmind, and Forsaken expansions can no longer be played by anybody. Meaning no new players will know who Cayde-6 is or how impactful he was to the story and why we should miss him.
chicomanara: Tbh, since the aquisition by Krafton, LE players are tense. I would be too.
BearInTheWoods: When I saw the Steam announcement, my first thought was “god I wish I had money.”
andredornelles8014: I still believe in D4, even though it keeps constantly losing key leadership people, doesn’t provide a single season not focused on trying to solve issues and completely ignoring new and fun gameplay, it’s still in alpha 2 years after launch, clearly just cares about marketing and taking money with low quality updates, have some of the laziest support for players in the market. Oh wait…
Zephyion: I tried getting in to Destiny 2, only to discover that the original campaign is gone, and replaced by some mega junk starting area, and then I uninstalled it.
ProfligateGhost: I literally spent up to this point chasing two pieces of chaos armor that I need it for my build. I have officially given up on Diablo IV because it's been this whole time and I still have yet to get those two pieces.
BearInTheWoods: I still play D4 when new seasons come out but I usually go back to other games after about a week. I think that’s okay. D4 is okay. It’s a 7 out of 10. And that’s okay.
To anyone that says otherwise: it’s okay (to play multiple games.)
FakeVacation: Didn't Bungie say they don't even have the original Destiny 2 campaign to put back in anymore. They didn't just vault it for players. They vaulted it for themselves.
Alarak87: Would love to see druids who look like they embrace nature rather than embracing snack cakes in D4 please
theseventhammer: Adam Fletcher leaving is the least impactful thing for D4 development. Streamers are making a big deal out of this because they interacted with him directly. But in reality community managers are a dime a dozen
sheashea1234: The Steam Cube looks like the perfect PC to hook up to your TV. Play some more relaxing games like Animal Well, Stardew Valley, Fields of Mistria, Vampire Survivours, Balatro, etc while lounging on the couch. It's not supposed to be a high end PC replacement
duchailu: waypoints unlocked ? that's a good start ... there should also be an option to have strongholds unlocked too ... some of them unlock waypoints too, and having to do them each time i lvl up to 60 is really not fun ...
ti83magic: It's been a while since I tuned in Rhykker. I hope you are well, your voice was different from what I remember. Stay safe man!
KBums: I would love to get into Destiny 2, but I want to play the original campaign and all the DLCs.
If they did a solo player mode that let you do all of the content that’s removed and put you back online once you got to the current stuff, I’d totally buy it.
BobMotster: Brandy Camel was something else. Alas, we still can't play Diablo "our own way".
Kylamiis: I miss Brandy ;(
Siphr0dias: There it is, my favorite news show. Thanks for being present. :)
DrukenReaps: I'm looking at the Gabecube, but .... I'd need to up the ram/vram. Will have to revisit it when my laptop starts dying. Should be able to be a full replacement but remains to be seen.
abraxis59: So a few things about the new steam VR, that I thought were really interesting:
First, it’s built on a snapdragon processor. This is an arm processor which traditionally has been considered bad for gaming, but they seem to have figured out a way to overcome that.
Second, their implementing an interesting wireless solution. There are actually two wireless streams of data going to and from the device that are completely independent of one another. One is your standard Internet connectivity, and the other is exclusively for streaming data from the PC to the device. This gives the device far more bandwidth to play with when communicating with the PC that’s running the game.
Third they’re using a new technology that I believe is new and unique. They are using eye tracking technology to pinpoint where to stream the highest resolution information. So the device optionally can focus most of its effort on making what you’re actually looking at more high resolution. It does seem you can turn that on and off though.
alexster3033: the issue with Destiny 2 is vaulting Paid DLC's so player lose money when playing the game
