algo888hktung7: just play POE2
kevinmann2154: I am ready for D5 , they are not going to improve d4 , devs admit it with recent interviews , endgame is staying the same and new changes to res and m/w sound horrible as well.
RichardRidder117: D4 the Expansion is cheaper than PoE EA. The current state of D4 ie what it is but at least it’s not the current state of PoE 2 with half the classes missing, endgame feeling empty, 1/3rd of the campaign missing, and lots of base QoL missing from the game. It’s also an entirely single player game that requires an internet connection.
tonyf8167: Having purchased both…
Short answer: NO
Long answer: NO
The storyline was not really that engaging; the expansions storyline was utter trash; there are fewer classes from the start, fewer regions…
D4 is a half baked joke…
That being said: if you ignore all its ‘faults’ the actual “game system” is fun to play, but that alone only hold you attention for so long given that other “better” and free options exist.
syfqamr5216: Noob question: I think i played the original D4 with campaign and some end game after that, i totally forgot what level i am and i stopped at just when they want to release the first DLC / season or whatever back then. So right now based on the price i kinda tempted to dive back in, but for sure my character being like 10 season or DLC behind or whatever isnt gonna cut it i suppose? If i bought this expansion here, how do i play it, do i need to create a new character or what? and how does that link to my original character? The sense of having to start and be so underpowered and way way behind the power curve is throwing me off somewhat, seing that maybe the existing players already are strong with their characters from previous seasons and so on, meanwhile i still stuck in the "original game". Sorry if the question doesnt make sense i just wondering.
BludFhart: Absolutely not. I’ve been playing since D1… I’ve given it a chance up to season 10… I’ll check back around season 20.
kaygetsbusy: It would b worth it if they give the druid 2 bear companions and the witch doctor class
doomdude69: I bought it simply because POE2 isnt out yet. Early access without transferring progress on release aint it for me.
zacwong5058: i will buy the next DLC anyway.
Forsaken626: Probably not.
lakatosstefan6926: cant believe people still promote this crap!
Jdiroe: At this point it feels like we will basically be paying $90 just for the Crusader/Paladin. Most players didn’t care about the campaign or the Undercity in Vessel of Hatred , the only real highlight was the Spiritborn class. So if Blizzard prices the next expansion at $90 again with the same formula (a new class plus a mediocre campaign), I expect sales to drop hard.
If they don’t expand the endgame, update skill trees across all classes, and actually bring Diablo back into the story, I think a big chunk of the community will just tap out and wait for Diablo 5. Blizzard really needs to start listening to player feedback , not just for the Diablo franchise , but for all their future games.
jf2849: I feel like you have to have the expansion just for the spiritborn alone. Getting a new class is the most fun you are going to have in this game. I wouldn’t have stopped playing if they would give us two new classes every year.
Patr1oT..: Honestly, I've been a huge fan of Diablo since D1, but lately I've been watching Diablo Immortal videos more often than Diablo 4. There's nothing to do here! In Diablo Immortal, sometimes there's not enough time in a day to do daily activities xD
Raziel699: no. progress is locked behind single GA chaos armor 99.99999999999999% of the time
gregorygreene1940: It would interesting to see the demographics/metrics on who is buying Diablo 4 and/or the expansion now. I would think most people interested in Diablo have long ago bought what they wanted. Here's my problem with the supposed superiority of D2. How many YT videos are there on 1000 runs of Pindleskin or Mephisto? That sounds familiar. Or how about making me run through the entire game just to up my difficulty level? If it was new content then that would be one thing but it's the same damn thing and I've got to do it three times. This is not a D2, D3, or D4 problem, this is a Blizzard problem in general.
aaronr5168: The Undercity & Runes are worth it. I paid 40$ at the time. If you don't really know the game, nah. If you do.. worth what the price is now
VK-el3of: For anyone wondering, its not worth it.
trblemayker5157: How's the connectivity since its always online?
KpK1Cioby: tl;dr he recommends poe over diablo and still thinks D2 is the best even with remastered version showing us that it's mostly nostalgia and the game at it's core isn't that great. So not the best person to ask for buying advice.
I played D1, D2, D2R, D3 and a bit of D4 demo. I couldn't play poe 1 for more than 30 minutes and the same goes for my friends. And poe1 is supposedly the best game.
SurF1Nyt: It was like 4 years ago.. D2r is better
DestineyMcLuvin: Is it worth it? Well, its like you purchased DIABLO 4- then realized you've stepped in dog crap. So you look down..wipe it off in the grass the best you can. But then you decide, nah, i'll walk into my neighbors yard and find even more to walk through. Absolute TRASH game, Blizzard is dead. This game is a joke.
bobbymalin6611: No I just played it for a couple months and the game is still trash. So much lag and not much to end game. Poe 1 and 2 are so much better.
thunderdoom12: Blizzard take my money no one cares they gonna buy it anyway
vibingwithbeefy7450: Even if the game was free. It still isn't worth it
