Diablo 4 MY FULL FEEDBACK FOR SEASON 11 PTR

Oct 31 2025

Matt-x6c: What the hell are they doing with this game? It’s like they are throwing magnets on a refrigerator, and if it sticks they put it in.
Rahru: As far as I'm concerned, they should just revert Masterworking to the original system, allow you to slam each crit AND implement a final step to make one of the affixes a GA. It would be the obvious, ideal change everyone wants, but without throwing the whole new concept away.
derdofe4225: thx for the real and good feeback and not the usual (D4 BAD Crybabie stuff)
Jdiroe: Here’s what would change to make Season 11 truly shine:

1. Tempering: Give us two affixes instead of one it adds more depth and build creativity.
2. Masterworking: Revert it to the previous version and let us step back (e.g., from 12/12 → 8/12) when resetting instead of starting over completely.
3. Sanctification: Needs a full rework. Introduce class specific powers, passives, or new aspects, and turn Sanctification into a permanent crafting system for Chaos Uniques.
4. Difficulty Scaling: Improve the progression between Torment tiers, especially the jump into Torment IV — it feels too punishing and uneven.
5. Divine Gifts: Make them build-defining like Chaos perks — they should feel impactful, not filler.
6. Leaderboards: Add three separate boards to encourage diverse playstyles:
• Power → The Pit
• Speed → Undercity
• Survival → Infernal Hordes
7. Altars & Progression: Restore altar stats, passive skills, and paragon points for returning players who already completed them.

These changes would massively boost player excitement and interest for coming back for Season 11 imo
frodofraggins: I don't see what people are getting excited about for season 11. They are just slowing progression even more (paragon leveling stinks these days). Leaderboards without a no-trade mode means RMTers will be at a big advantage as they can just keep buying 4GAs and trying to get the BiS sanctification to go with them.
derrickcall9307: They didn't listen to players at all when it came to Masterworking! We liked the double/triple affixes...what we wanted was resets by 4 (12 to 8, 8 to 4). The "replace stat" chance is going to be the one to brick items. Most people always go to a META build...I would love to see a streamer or blaster take a D-F build and actually do well! If they can't do it...maybe the Dev's will actually realize they need to Balance Better! Maybe it does have some build diversity, but it still leaves a lot of builds in the dirt.
kevinmann2154: Can't wait to run pit and pit #2 for endgame content and not reach max glyphs do to 40% nerfs from m/w changes. Thanks blizz
boat3925: Can't speak for the entire community, but I've gotten horrible feedback from friends playing the ptr (im a console player). Most have elected to move on and find a new game.
KR-mh3lm: To be perfectly honest they need to do something to make the game more fun. The player counts are definitely headed in the wrong direction very quickly.
Xenn000: Sounds like another season to skip. Blizzard needs to pick something that works and stop changing everything. There's almost nothing new from 5 seasons ago, just reworks reworks reworks. Sanctified is the only new thing and it's a brick mechanic, so I'll probably avoid D4 until the expansion comes out.
flowqi212: Thx Wudi, most reliable source for quality feedback, very well thought through and not this hyperactive panic attack nonsense.
aemlan: I actually really dislike the idea of conditional buffs. To me there should always be a slightly less numerically good way of playing that doesn't require x amounts of conditions to be tanky or deal dmg
aroguemango-d9e: Undoing map progression across realms just feels like artificial bloat in the early game, imo being able to start with some vague build makes progression feel way smoother, worst change honestly
stevec2227: I'm a casual and I took part in the PTR. I had little problem going through the 1st 2 capstones until I got to the final boss. Then I got long fights (I had to try and kill the bosses 4 or 5 times) and I barely survived when I finally managed it. The dungeons were way too long to face a boss this hard at the end. It was an intense 20 minutes leaving me tired. It would have been very frustrating if the final kill didn't happen. Based on this, and on your input in this video, I think I'll wait until I'm overpowered to do them. But that would seem to negate there purpose.
mathew00: Biggest thing I've noticed with the feedback as a whole... No excitement. It's more like "I see you trying and I'm good with that but.. meh". Btw, I'm a big Blizzard Entertainment fan. So many memories.
stefan.antonio.: For Rogue, I just want my damage to come from my skills. I want to stack Crit chance and Crit damage, and just see big yellow numbers when I press like... Barrage. Everything is LHC and damage from something else other than the actual skill you are using.
KhulZA: Thoughness is not an upgrade, its a nerf
doctortraumacock: I have a feeling this is going to be a very boring season. Slogging to get my garbage season rewards w/ gear that has 1/2 the affixes
MrLove-666: What I hate about seasons: you finally enjoy the game with a super build that you like: then poof! no more until season 30, like D3 where they restarted from season 1 (please don't do that Blizz)

So yeah, for example I liked the Druid's Ravens, and now they'll go to sleep.. just like Chaos Armors, so many builds unlocked, nope, no more..

They should do like PoE1 if people had fun, they add it as PERMANENT. problem solved.

Yet.. they love to fuck us off..
treyroy755: Simply cannot play the game again until they revert the sorc teleport changes. Why in the world are they making the game slow and boring? Who wants to play a slow ARPG? Wtf is the point?
DanXDelion: Masterworking really is the most boring and lazy system they could have come up with. All we wanted was fixed reset levels instead of having to reset to 0 every time. Could have decreased the overall MW power and made levels 9-12 way more expensive to get, for example, instead of dumbing it down completely and killing all of the excitement.
TheDudeNoxtic: the most important part about season 11 is......who care the better Game starts a new league tomorrow
datravens: I just picked up diablo again after sitting out and letting the game improve, I hadn't played since season 3. Seeing what I know about s11 already, looks like i'll be sticking to PoE2. What a shame that I waited this long and the game is worse off than it was when I left. Season 10 felt okay but nothing to write home about.
yulfine1688: Sorcs should be allowed to combine elements like poe does..
if we have fire and frost combine instead of chilling and freezing you get frost fire or whatever you wanna call it and it chills and burns.
OR if you combined electric with frost you get lose stun for chill and freeze.
IF you combine electric with fire you lose stun for burn damage or something
Mastery with different elements would be cool to see as passives so if you go all cold or fire or lightning you reduce the enemies resistance to those elements or something along those lines.
Something like static field reworked as it lowered monsters HP but could do something else.

Barbs need a lot of help most builds are gone and have been gone for a while now it feels like outside of some outliers, reworking their unique mechanic in some fashion, buff their skills and give them identity. Bring back masteries with weapons or add it to their unique mechanic its already sort of there, but you could make it more interesting than the masteries which just gave dmg bonuses in d2 as well, things like bleed or crush that causes vulnerable or pierce. Bring back grim ward or a totem that can be summoned in some fashion that does something that'd be interesting over just the different cries.

Rogue i haven't touched in a very long time and I have to agree like half their kit needs reworks.. bring some stuff from the amazon class for rogue, redo imbuements, immolation arrow should return and magic arrow etc. Rework the inner sight to be more like d2s, i mean vision doesn't matter but it could be reworked decreasing all enemys defenses by x amount or apply vulnerable etc. Bring some stuff from assassin maybe we already sort of have them. Things like shock web for traps or the sentries for traps could be great to see though im not a fan of them, blade shield as another defensive option over just dark shroud. Cloak of shadows is not stealth mind you its a def reduction skill and blind that could be very cool to see.
Tiger strike could be put into combo points or replace it where consecutive hits add damage bonuses for finishing moves, and tie it to certain melee skills maybe for melee rogue to release the charges, something like cobra strike for life recovery and resource recovery.
Fade could come into play for defense that is more passive and builds up lowering crowd control duration and increasing all resist for 30 seconds or something, it also had a hidden physical resistance that was capped at 50% since physical resistance is in that'd be cool.
They could change the names these are just ideas for skills and changes to things that would be good.

Necros I also haven't a played a ton I miss things like blood lance or a proper bone spear build or hybrid builds that can utilize minions to some degree even if its only golem or something, a bone storm type speed build, a build with sever would be interesting to see, im no fan of needing to spam things like decertify that needs changes and a new curse and changes to curses in general. Their ultimate's also need some sort of buff, bring back blood wave and bone storm and army of the dead has always been eh. They're missing skills, bring back teeth for d2, poison nova, dim vision as a curse (we don't need amplify damage we all know that it'd be used on everything mainly) Bring a way to use more than 1 curse then maybe add amplify damage and stack 2 curses for a benefit. Poison explosion would be cool to see or poison dagger even though poison dagger was never that good.

Druids are a hard one i don't really care much for them myself and in d2 they were never very good in fact the LOD beta destroyed it and assassin by the end.. They had firestorm, arctic blast, volcano, this could be things for casting version, outside of that arguably minus oak sage most skills are in the druid class in some fashion. OAK SAGE SHOULD RETURN for minion but also just HP buff. You could bring back Solar Creeper to deal with resource management, or thorns bring back spirit or barbs. These would make druid more interesting. Heart of the wolverine is a dmg buff and atk rating which is chance to hit but could be changed. Hunger could be cool as a resource option for shapeshift builds when in wolf or bear form biting enemies to gain life and mana, again could be changed and expanded.

Spiritborn I would like to see more builds away from rod of kepeleke its so tiring seeing more builds running this in general its the same thing with a slight variation in skill choice.. they're so one dimensional it feels add in some stuff from monk in some form could be interesting since they sort of pull form monk anyways.
Stroked302Mustang: Is there a endgame for people who could careless about leaderboards
ClarkKent-tv2fk: overall we thought Diablo will come out of beta soon, but now blizz just thinks to start everything new, which will be end in another two years of beta to bring everything in balance again. I hate it. Thought we get perma chaos uniques and a lot of build variations, but its the total opposite, Still no endgame
