HawkZombie: I'll be that guy: why the hell do we have a Diablo game two years deep with no sign of Diablo?
WUZLE: Nothing says "We have no idea what we're doing and have no plan" like massive changes to a game every couple of patches.
DeathComeInPeace: So... the game is 2 years and a half in and they revamped core mechanics two times already. It's safe to assume it's out of Early Access and getting into Beta, that's good news!
Will-vj5bc: Blizzard: "We heard you hated bricking items with tempering, so you can no longer brick items at the beginning of an item's journey."
Also Blizzard: "Here's a new mechanic called Sanctification that allows you to brick an item at the end after you've poured all of your resources into it."
Zimmie1984: I was hoping d4 would mention when the skill tree rework was going to take place
cwilliam19: Probably won't be playing until the next class release honestly.
skywalk3x: Why hasn’t Blizzard introduced a belt and put half the affixes from the amulet on it. Instead the incredibly frustrating amulet has even more affixes. I’m not even worried about anymore. Just not worth the frustration lol
Mindlessallen: Season 10 was the most popular season d4 has seen. .............and their plan is to run it back to season 1 essentially..................why?
alexfarmwald3946: I don't like reworks being presented as fresh content.
jakeoconnor2014: I have to say, well done for putting it to the devs, a lot of creators would sugar coat their answers, nope straight in with honest questions, it was refreshing
BobMotster: "Improved tempering" is a mirage. They found a way to make it even harder for us to get the right combination of stats to even begin crafting.
Apparently they will never let us have what we want. It's their business model. Always keep the players naked, hungry and thirtsy with the hope they will play more out of frustration and, potentially, engage more with the in-game shop.
However, It will be a cold day in hell when I enslave myself to an endless grind for no satisfaction at the end. I want to think that the majority of players are like that too.
Stay logged out and you may get what you want. Budge and none of us will get anything pleasant in this game.
Konradical007: I can’t lie after you campfire talk. I am not too excited about the changes and I’m not sure that this is a good move for the next season.
flagtrap5925: It's wild that this company could not make a compelling itemization/crafting system in a total of 835 days, and are still coming up with these epiphanies :/
chicomanara: Last epoch suffers from the genre expectations almost forcing arpgs to be live service, when I believe the Grim down approach would be more than fine.
kestononline: Previously, via MasterWorking you got 45% across the board, and an extra 75% split or piled. Distributed across all your 4 affixes, that is 210% worth of increases. With the new system, making an affix into a GA, is a 50% bump; that's it. That is a huge difference, and a massive nerf. Is that 160% less of distributed affix scaling worth a 20% to armor/resists/weapon-damage? The weapon-damage, maybe... but the armor/resists, definitely not.
Ezekku: Everybody talking about Azmodan, and I'm here super hyped about freaking HADRIEL coming back!
Strategistmaster: Build the problem, sell the solution. This was Diablos plan all along. All these friction points being "revamped" or "remade" is just colorful language
FumaPerros: I want a expansion in the heaven like D3
pacotera: Gotta love expectations… Had a ton of hope for these changes, and now it’s just one step forward, two giant leaps back!
JunkeeOfficial: Devs once again proving that they neither play their own game nor understand what changes anyone putting more then 50 hours into a season would like to see...
he77hawk.71: I’m very very scared for diablo 4 season 11
Pezby69: I painted a wall. I watched the wall dry.. Was more fun than paying D4.. Will paint another wall..
EtaCarinaeSC: When loot 69.0
dcroberts09: Half of d4s updates are just redoing their systems over and over. Games dull and it’s ridiculous how little they’ve added in two years.
Scquwer: I wish they would do some stuff just for fun with shrines. I love equipment that would make shrines last longer or be more potent or things like that and they could still work on different types of shrines, they just don’t last long enough at all and aren’t impactful enough as stands. A lot could be explored there.
asum7786: So many Utility/QoL Temper's already struggled to justify their existence though, usually only being able to take an odd one on a few builds here and there. Then another huge amount of them it felt like they were literally just there to bloat the pool of tempers to screw you harder on the RNG when trying to roll for the few useful ones.
Now with only one Temper per item, and us being to select which one we want, they can probably go ahead and delete 60-80% of Temper options.
ace24680: 11 sounds like it gonna be a cluster f :(
