zonn6469: this is by far the worst feeling ptr since they started doing them. they need to revert about 90% of the changes or this will be one of the worst seasons they have done. how they have gone from one of the best to worst is actually surprising.
GarrettMHoyle: I play D4 with my wife. We are not try hard enough, nor good enough to reach pit 100 or even really comfortably sit in T4. And we are fine with that, we play casually. We do the season till we get the pet reward(for my wife) and then we are satisfied. All I am hearing about this new season is that everything is harder. Pit is harder. Monsters are harder(though the new combat seems interesting to me) Items are way worse. All this just makes me feel like my wife will not want to play, which means I won't either. Game isn't fun enough to play alone. Bummer, but who knows, haven't tries thw season mechanics yet
Leogos281: Nah I don't like this, as soon as i saw this announced on stream I said it is bad and their math is fake.

Like yes mathematically you need around ~130 rolls to get 3/3 Masterwork, and new system greatly reduces that amount, but now you have more RNG placed into obtaining that item (which already isn't easy) and that item now has 4 stats meaning u need at least 3 bis ones to reroll 4th one, and on top of everything, material u need to reroll GA is slightly more rare.

Getting x3 masterworks isn't hard while 130 rolls sounds scary, at that point in game u have infinite rolls so it is nothing cuz those resources aren't scarce, it will take you much much more time to get that 4 affix bis item than to roll a 3 stat item into x3 masterwork.

Then final thing is Sanctification, so lets say u get your Int 3 passives on skills amulet, that you masterwork and all that good stuff, then you sanctify it and get trash passive, what then ? Chances of getting another amulet like that is very low.

Divinecomedy232: Good and bad changes coming up. As a casual player I really think season 11 is going to be a major bummer. Season 10 has been a lot of fun.
Tanchicomarkas: Most youtubers that have examined this is proper detail, have stated the new system is absolute shite. We are talking about many of the more high profile youtubers that don't bend the knee for the e d4 developers.

JoBoy78: Not being able to change aspects after sanctifying kinda sucks. Because if you don't have your aspect at max level then you can't really sanctify your gears unless you don't mind.

GrandmaJesus: if only they gave us the fun we were asking for instead of this parent-control-freak level of swap like "oh you want this type of gear progression, we we can do thatttttt orrrrr we can do thiiiiiiiiis??? seeeeee isnt this better than before at least??" shits crazy. like just give us the choice of tempering roll, the unlimited rolls with scrolls AND 2 tempers. also taking away temper bricking to just give us the 2in6 chance of sanctify bricking is totally NOOOOT a fake out swap righttttttt? its better than before but the fun killer is really peaking through when you could have just given us what we've been asking for blizz....
nataliomendez9942: I have to be honest sanctifying should be all of those chances minus the replacement of an affix. I'm also not excited about this new season.
josephjanecka5080: The developers need to stop playing with us and let us play the game. Improving gear should not be so random and not based almost entirely on RNG. Being able to select a temper is a good start. But sanctification just flushes all those good ideas down the drain. Completely RNG and it bricks the item.
Improving your gear should be like improving your skills: a reward you get for succeeding in the game, and not left to the RNG gods.
It would be like receiving a skill randomly: absolutely no say in your progression.

Needs to be a lot of adjustment from PTR to live production.
videoradeon: This game is becoming more complex than PoE2 and Grim Dawn. I'm even wondering if Blizzard will adopt the pattern of changing things from time to time, which could be bad. I hope they better refine this new system before releasing something definitive, because it's already been two years of constant changes.
des_47: I can fix this.

1. Increase drop rates for the sanctification sigil
2. Allow for tempering, enchanting and master working after sanctification
Jdiroe: Sanctification is a dope idea to have permanently however it needs a complete system overhaul .
